Sankofa’s also plays host to "Open Mic Night" on Saturdays catering to those interested in Neo Soul and a taste for live music. Every Saturday come out and witness some of the most talented artists, musicians, and poets perform LIVE. Fridays provide patrons with drink specials and FREE entry to take advantage of the Deep Ellum night life.
